Batting first MI posted a competitive total of 186 on board losing 8 wickets. Andrew Tye became the first player to pick three four-wicket hauls in IPL. During the chase KL Rahul played a brilliant knock of 94 but failed to get his team home. Jasprit Bumrah anchored the bowling for MI who ended up with figures 4-0-15-3.
