Mumbai Indians (MI) continued their winning way in the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Wankhede by 13 runs. With this win, Mumbai have kept their chances of making to the playoffs alive. It was a controlled bowling performances on part of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah that squeezed life out a strong KKR lineup, who were set to chase 182 to win. Skipper Dinesh Karthik played a valiant knock of 36 runs for KKR. This was also MI’s seventh consecutive win over KKR.
