India beat Sri Lanka by 153 runs in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The two teams first celebrated the 150 years of the iconic venue. However, it was Rohit Sharma who set the stage alight on the day with a mind-boggling innings of 264. Rohit broke numerous records during the memorable day and that score powered India to 404 for five. His innings was remarkable in many ways and one to savour. In reply, Sri Lanka couldn’t get going and they were all-out for 251. That fight was stirred by Angelo Mathews and Lahiru Thirimanne, but it was too little too late. Rohit has left a huge mark on the game with this innings. With this victory, India have gone on to a 4-0 lead. The last ODI will be played at Ranchi.
