Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. It was a good clinical performance by Mumbai as they earlier put up a good bowling performance to restrict Hyderabad to 157 for three in their 20 overs, in what was a good batting track. David Warner’s half century helped Hyderabad power to a good finish after they had slowed down in the middle when the bowlers bowled well. Aaron Finch contributed with 68. When the run-chase came about, Lendl Simmons and Ambati Rayudu helped Mumbai power to a victory as they put up a 130-run stand. Both batsmen scored 68 each and took on the bowling. In the end, the game was won with eight balls to spare, but they could not see it through to the end. Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard finished it.
