In the crucial Group 1 encounter of ICC World T20 2014 played between Netherlands and New Zealand at Chittagong, New Zealand’s key player and skipper, Brendon McCullum took them home to a victory with a well-measure innings. New Zealand stuttered for a while by losing crucial wickets at regular intervals. However, with a calm head on his shoulders, Brendon McCullum played well for them.


He was also battling with back spasms, but the tenacious batsman was able to play through the pain. He was finally out to an excellent catch taken by Mudassar Bukhari  off the ever impressive Van der Gugten’s bowling. Kane Williamson was the other New Zealand batsman who played well by amassing 29 runs. Corey Anderson gave finishing touches with some sumptuous sixes.
