After stellar performance in Under-19 World Cup 2018 and guiding India to the fourth title, the young guns set the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 ablaze as well. Delhi Daredevils (DD), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) had a handful of Under-19 stars in their squad, who displayed just a small glimpse of their talent.

DD picked Abhishek Sharma surprisingly late. Sharma, who had impressed in the Under-19 World Cup, played the last three matchers for Delhi. He finished with a strike rate in excess of 190. © BCCI

Knight Riders picked Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti, both express bowlers, for this IPL. While Nagarkoti was ruled out, Mavi impressed all with his searing pace. He looked a bit raw at times, but there is no doubt about his talent © BCCI
