After David Warner, Varun Aaron, and Shikhar Dhawan got into an on-field spat on Day Four of the first Test between Australia and Indiaat Adelaide, it was the turn of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Steven Smith to have a few words with each other. Rohit appealed for an LBW, to which Smith in turn made a gesture toward Rohit. Kohli then came in and asked Smith to “stay in [his] limits.”

Earlier, the umpires had to intervene when David Warner was bowled off a no-ball by Varun Aaron for 66. Aaron had given Warner a send-off, but the latter responded in turn. Shane Watson and Shikhar Dhawan also joined in, exchanging words before umpire Ian Gould eventually calmed the two sides down. Interestingly, on that occasion it was Kohli who had intervened and calmed things down by talking calmly to Warner.
