Ab de Villiers and Faf du Plessis‘ respective tons help South Africa register a massive seven wicket win over  Australia in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the Zimbabwe Triangular series 2014, at the Harare Sports Club on Wednesday. South Africa went off to flier with Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla took on the Australian pace attack. Unfortunately, they both got out to loose deliveries from Mitchell Starc and Imran Tahir respectively.

After this, it was Ab de Villiers and Faf du Plessis show all the way. The way they built the innings was commendable. At a stage they were lagging behind on the required run rate. Slowly they caught up with the required run rate as they started to score at a brisk pace. Both de Villiers and du Plessis lined themselves up for the batting powerplay which they took at the end of the 35th over. They had already crossed 250 run mark by then. After that, it was all easy for these two. Althought, du Plessis got out but JP Duminy finished it in style.
