Kuldeep Yadav Biography
Kuldeep Yadav first caught the eye during the ICC under-19 World Cup 2014 in the UAE. The Chinaman is a rare bread and Kuldeep’s emergence brought a lot of hope for India. He impressed with his variations and showed good control. After taking 14 wickets in the tournament, Kuldeep was hailed as the next big thing and was picked up by the Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL 2014.
Though Kuldeep sat out during the IPL, he was handed an opportunity during CLT20 2014 when Shakib Al Hasan was missing in action. Along with Sunil Narine and Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep formed a threatening spin combination and didn’t get overshadowed by the West Indian tweaker. That performance shot him into the national side as he was named in the Indian team to play West Indies. Kuldeep’s selection came when he was yet to make his First-Class and List A debuts.
