With that, we wrap up the coverage of today's match. For more cricketing action, hop over to the next tab where England have Pakistan on the mat. This is Siddharth P saying goodbye on the behalf of Karthik L, Srivathsa VM and Sathya GB. Tada

Dhoni has been presented with a trophy. Supposedly each of these two matches consist of two one-match series. The commentator, before giving the MoM award, said that it might be a controversial decision. Wonder why he said that, as Jadeja was a clear choice. He was the sole reason for two run outs and snapped up Hussey off his own bowling.

Ravindra Jadeja: It's a pleasure to play for India. Dhoni keeps telling me to play my natural game.

Ravindra Jadeja is the Man of the Match for his fielding and his wicket of Hussey.

Dhoni: It's always good to be on the winning side. The fielding has been exceptional. It has been the best fielding side that I have played with. We are a side that relies a lot on a good start. PK bowled really well, he bowls in the right areas. The spinners kept things tight. The top three batsmen played solidly. It's disappointing when you lose games. We did all good things in this game.

George Bailey: It was not as close at it looked. We did not have enough runs on the board. We wanted to see what we could do with different guys. The 4 run outs were the key factor. India can play the T20 format really well. I have learnt a lot from these two games. We have started to put some game plans together. We need to be more consistent. Hopefully the ODI team can keep the winning run going

This victory will taste sweet. It has come after 2 long months in the shortest format. The win has come through an all round effort from the bowlers, fielders and the batsmen. The Indian fielders were terrific and accounted for four wickets. The spinners bowled a tight line and varied their pace, the Aussie batsmen struggled to get going. Jadeja was the star of the show as he played a part in two run outs and Hussey's wicket. Even the batting clicked as Sehwag and Gambhir got them off to a good start. Gambhir played the sheet-anchor role to perfection and guided his team to victory. In the process he also brought up his 7th T20I fifty. He will be one of the contenders of the Man of the Match.

Smiles all around. Gambhir and Dhoni shake hands with the Australians and leave the field.

19.4
Clint McKay to Gambhir

FOUR, full outside off, Gambhir gets across and drives it in between mid on and midwicket for a boundary. First victory for India on this tour. Smiles all around.

19.3

17.5
Mitchell Marsh to Gambhir

17.4
Mitchell Marsh to Dhoni

3 runs, short outside off, Dhoni plays a tennis smash shot to the deep midwicket region. The batsmen come back for three runs.

17.3
Mitchell Marsh to Gambhir

3 runs, back of a length delivery on the pads, Gambhir flicks it to the backward square leg region for a couple. The throw is a bit wayward and the keeper fails to collect it properly, gets an extra run.
