India travel to New Zealand for a five-match One-Day International (ODI) and a two-match Test series. This is India’s first tour to the nation since 2009, when they won both the ODI and the Test series. This time around, India face a different challenge as they have a young side and are coming of a tough tour of South Africa. New Zealand are also up for the challenge has they too have a crop of good youngsters who can take the challenge to India. With respect to the 2015 World Cup, which will take place next year in Australia and New Zealand, India have a chance to get some vital exposure and assess their build-up.
