David Warnerb Lockie Ferguson 24 29 4 0 82.76
9.6
L Ferguson to D Warner, OUT! Maiden ODI wicket for Ferguson! Bowls it outside off, Warner looks to chop it through the off side but fails to connect cleanly. The ball goes off the inside edge back onto the stumps and despite the two boundaries, Ferguson has his man and his maiden ODI wicket as well. Eventful over to say the least!
Aaron Finchb Matt Henry 0 1 0 0 0
0.3
M Henry to A Finch, OUT! FINCH BAGS A DUCK! Matt Henry gets rewarded for his beautiful delivery which was pitched on a good length outside off and Finch was looking to punch it on the up. The ball went off the inside edge and onto the stumps. Henry gets the scoreboard ticking in style for the Kiwis.
Steven Smith (C)c Colin Munro b Trent Boult 164 157 14 4 104.46
47.2
T Boult to S Smith, OUT! Finally, NZ hold onto a chance from Smith! Boult bowls it outside off on a fuller length, Smith looks to swing it over mid-wicket but gets a top edge. Colin Munro the fielder at square leg, comes across, gets under it and takes it cleanly. End of a superb knock from Smith and he gets a rousing applause. He has put Australia right in front here.
George Baileyc Bradley Watling b Jimmy Neesham 17 25 0 1 68
18.6
J Neesham to G Bailey, OUT! Time for Bailey to go back to the dressing room. Neesham has bowled that on the pads and Bailey can't clip cleanly and seems to have got an edge. The keeper goes low on his left side for a very good catch and appeals. They are confident but Kumar Dharamasena was not sure if the catch was clean so he referred it with the TV umpire. Replays confirm it was a clean catch and Bailey has to depart.
Mitchell Marshrun out (Jimmy Neesham) 1 3 0 0 33.33
20.1
J Neesham to S Smith, OUT! RUN OUT! That's lucky for Neesham there. Pitched up, Smith hits it back to Neesham who gets his hand on the ball and drags it towards the non striker's end where Mitchell Marsh was backing up and did not react quickly enough. Marsh has to pay the prize for being lazy there.
Travis Headc & b Trent Boult 52 60 5 0 86.67
41.1
T Boult to T Head, OUT! That's caught and bowled by Trent Boult. Bowled a full length delivery to which Head hits straight back towards Boult. It's aerial and the bowler takes a beautiful catch in his followthrough. Makes it look very easy. End of a fine stand for Australia.
Matthew Wade (W)b Matt Henry 38 22 1 3 172.73
48.5
M Henry to M Wade, OUT! Too cheeky and pays the price for it! Wade gets away outside off to paddle this one but fails to connect cleanly. He ends up gliding it onto his stumps. End of an entertaining cameo by Wade.

J Neesham to M Starc, OUT! Starc reviews in vain! Neesham goes over the wicket, bowls it short on middle, Starc looks to pull but the ball goes off the helmet and lobs up in the air towards short fine leg. Watling goes to his right and takes the catch. The umpire gives it out. Starc wants to review since he is sure he has not hit it. Hot Spot spots a faint edge near the top half of the bat. Starc has a wry smile as he walks off.

Martin Guptillc sub b Adam Zampa 114 102 10 6 111.76
32.6
A Zampa to M Guptill, OUT! Guptill has to depart after a very well played century. Zampa dropped that short and Guptill tried to pull it. He didn't get his placement right and in the process found the mid-wicket fielder. An easy catch for Maxwell who was standing there as a substitute. Guptill is gutted as he has to go back after a brilliant knock. Is that the game for NZ? One hopes not. NZ need 140 more in 102 balls.
Tom Lathamb Josh Hazlewood 2 6 0 0 33.33
1.6
J Hazlewood to Tom Latham, OUT! That's been the pattern of the day! Angled outside off on a good length, Latham goes for the dab through the off side. The ball goes off the inside edge onto the stumps. Early strike for Australia and Josh is back and amongst the wickets. He had the line covered but not the length and was also beaten by the pace on that one.
Kane Williamson (C)c Steven Smith b Josh Hazlewood 9 16 2 0 56.25
7.5
J Hazlewood to K Williamson, OUT! And Smith takes a stunner at first slip! Fuller outside off, Williamson is lured into the drive as the ball swings away late. The ball flies quickly to Smith at first slip who takes a good reflex catch in front of his face. What a catch from Smith and Australia have a peep into the young middle order of New Zealand!
Jimmy Neeshamc Josh Hazlewood b Mitchell Starc 34 36 5 0 94.44
21.5
M Starc to J Neesham, OUT! The chip game does not work this time! Fuller and angling into the stumps, Neesham looks to chip it in the gap. He does not get enough on it and Hazlewood goes to his left from long on and gets under it to take a good catch. A vital wicket there for the Aussies. Neesham was looking to hit it straighter may be and the ball went off the inside half there. Anyway, end of a 92-run stand, New Zealand need 199 runs from 169 balls.
Bradley Watling (W)c Steven Smith b Mitchell Marsh 6 13 0 0 46.15
24.3
M Marsh to B Watling, OUT! What a catch, Smith! It's his day out! Short and wide outside off, Watling goes for the cut but does not keep it down. Smith at point, flies to his left and takes a stunner with his left hand. He falls on his face but does not let go of the ball, tough lad, eh? Marsh cannot believe his luck too. Superb catch, that and Australia are now closing in here.
Colin Munroc George Bailey b Pat Cummins 49 59 4 1 83.05
43.5
Pat Cummins to C Munro, OUT! Cummins outsmarts Munro with a well disguised slower one which Munro has a swing at and the ball goes to the fielder standing at mid off. Bailey takes the catch.
Mitchell Santnerc David Warner b Adam Zampa 0 7 0 0 0

wicket. A Zampa to M Santner, OUT! DUCK! Santner has to leave without troubling the scorers. Adam Zampa floats it and Santner tries to hit it over the long on fielder but does not connect cleanly. He does not have the power to clear the infield. Warner gets under it and accepts the gift. NZ sink further.
Colin de Grandhommelbw b Josh Hazlewood 6 8 1 0 75
37.4
J Hazlewood to de Grandhomme, OUT! What a poor call to review! Josh spears in a fuller one onto the stumps, Colin looks to clip it through mid-wicket but fails to do so. The ball strikes him in front of the stumps and the players go up in an appeal. The umpire rules it out but Colin wants a review. The replays though confirm that it was hitting the stumps and that's a review wasted.
Matt Henryc George Bailey b Pat Cummins 27 15 4 1 180
43.2
Pat Cummins to M Henry, OUT! Bowled overpitch around off, Henry goes for a wild swing but is unable to get the elevation and power this time. The ball goes high up in the sky, Bailey gets under it and takes a safe catch at long on. New Zealand drown further.
Lockie Fergusonb Mitchell Marsh 0 3 0 0 0
44.2
M Marsh to L Ferguson, OUT! That was pitched outside off which was angling in, Ferguson looked to dab it through the line but the ball took an inside edge and went on to rattle the stumps. That's it for New Zealand. AUSTRALIA WIN BY 68 RUNS and lead 1-0 in the three-match series.
