T Boult to D Warner, OUT! Warner is run out off the final delivery and fails to carry his bat. Fuller in length, Warner jams it to the off side and sets off. Boult goes to his right, collects the ball and scores a superb direct hit at the non-striker's end where Warner fails to make it in. What a tremendous knock though by David Warner. One of the best surely as his team was in real trouble. Australia finish on 264/8!
Aaron Finchc Henry Nicholls b Trent Boult 3 8 0 0 37.5
1.5
T Boult to A Finch, OUT! Boult has his man first up. In-swinging onto the pads, Finch tries to whip it on the on side and it finds the inner edge of the bat which lands straight in the hands of Henry Nicholls at square leg. Boult makes it look so easy as he made Finch fall in the trap he made for him. Finch has to depart without reaching double figures and his poor run of form continues.
Steven Smith (C)c Henry Nicholls b Trent Boult 0 7 0 0 0
3.6
T Boult to S Smith, OUT! The skipper is gone. This one is a biggie for the the Kiwis, who has racked up a lot of runs in this series. Angling onto the pads, Smith tries to clip it and he finds Nicholls who is standing at backward square leg. Boult has his fielding plan in place and it has worked. Bowls five deliveries outside off and the last one is on his pads which gets Smith wanting.
George Baileyc Mitchell Santner b Colin de Grandhomme 23 51 1 0 45.1
18.3
de Grandhomme to G Bailey, OUT! Straight to the fielder! That's a soft dismissal. On middle and leg, too straight, Bailey looks to clip but the ball goes straight into the hands of Santner at mid-wicket. Easy pickings and Bailey departs after getting a start.
Mitchell Marshb Colin de Grandhomme 0 2 0 0 0
18.5
de Grandhomme to M Marsh, OUT! That's an unfortunate dismissal. Mitchell Marsh looks frustrated with that and you can expect why so. It's a length ball around off, Marsh tries to defend but gets a bit of an inside edge, the ball rolls off his front pad and goes onto the stumps. The bails are off. Marsh gone for a duck and de Grandhomme bags another wicket. Australia are in trouble here.
Travis Headb Mitchell Santner 37 70 2 0 52.86
39.1
M Santner to T Head, OUT! New Zealand finally get the breakthrough! Flighted on the stumps, Head gets down the track to heave it for a biggie but totally misjudges it and the ball hits the stumps. He was no where near the ball. A well played knock when the Aussies were struggling comes to an end. A very well played 105 runs partnership comes to an end.
Matthew Wade (W)c Colin de Grandhomme b Mitchell Santner 14 23 0 0 60.87
45.2
M Santner to M Wade, OUT! Wade holes out! On middle and off, Wade gets down on his knee and goes for a slog sweep. The ball goes towards the deep mid-wicket fielder and de Grandhomme takes an easy catch there. It was a long part of the boundary and Wade took the risk which didn't pay off. Santner gets another wicket.
James Faulknerc Martin Guptill b Trent Boult 13 13 1 0 100
49.3
T Boult to J Faulkner, OUT! Straight to the fielder this time! Fuller length ball on middle and leg, Faulkner lofts it towards long on where Guptill takes an easy catch. Boult gets his third wicket.

Martin Guptillc George Bailey b Travis Head 34 40 3 0 85
15.1
T Head to M Guptill, OUT! WHAT-A-START! Head strikes with the first ball of his spell and he gets the big fish out. Looped up and outside off, Guptill tries to smash it hard and it lands straight in the hands of Bailey who was standing at covers. Guptill, the only Kiwi batsman who was looking in good knick, has to make the long walk back.
Tom Lathamc James Faulkner b Pat Cummins 28 36 3 0 77.78
8.6
Pat Cummins to Tom Latham, OUT! THAT'S GONE! Angling onto the pads, Latham flicks it towards Faulkner who is standing at square leg for a simple catch. That was really a poor shot by Latham after a promising 28. Australia get the breakthrough and it's Pat Cummins who has struck here.
Kane Williamson (C)lbw b James Faulkner 13 12 2 0 108.33
13.6
J Faulkner to K Williamson, OUT! MISERY STRIKES! Faulkner bowls it outside off and that was angling into his stumps. Williamson tries to flick it but is unable to find contact and gets hit on the pads. There was a loud appeal and Nigel Llong ruled him out. Williamson went in for a review. The replays show that it was pitched outside off, the impact was in line and it was hitting the leg stump. 3 reds and Kane Williamson has to go and the decision stays as it is.
Henry Nichollsb Mitchell Starc 3 11 0 0 27.27
16.6
M Starc to H Nicholls, OUT! STARC SPECIAL! Excellent yorker by Mitchell Starc! Toe crusher, Nicholls fails to put his bat on the ball as it goes through and rattles the timber. Cracking delivery. Australia get another wicket and brilliant captaincy by Steven Smith to bring on Starc here. How many bowlers in this world can bowl such yorkers? It was totally accurate.
Colin Munrob Mitchell Starc 20 38 1 0 52.63
28.2
M Starc to C Munro, OUT! That might be the final nail in the coffin. In-swinging yorker and Munro tries to drive it through but the ball finds the gap between the bat and pad. Munro has to depart. The Kiwis are only left with their bowlers now.
Bradley Watling (W)lbw b Travis Head 8 13 1 0 61.54
21.5
T Head to B Watling, OUT! Decision overturned. That's a smart call by Matthew Wade once again who advised for the review and it has worked. Coming to the ball, it's pitched in line and Watling tries to sweep but he misses and gets hit on the pads. Big appeal by the keeper for a leg before but the umpire says not out. Wade convinces his skipper to go for the review but Head doesn't look that confident. Replays show there's no bat involved and it's pitching in line and it would have gone to hit the stumps. Watling has to go. New Zealand slip further.
Colin de Grandhommec Travis Head b Josh Hazlewood 11 10 0 1 110
24.4
J Hazlewood to de Grandhomme, OUT! NZ are looking in tatters. A short length delivery outside off, de Grandhomme tries to pull it away but the ball gets on top and it rushes of the outside edge for a catch towards deep square leg. Travis Head takes a catch diving forward. A brilliant catch there.
Mitchell Santnerlbw b Mitchell Starc 15 21 3 0 71.43
30.6
M Starc to M Santner, OUT! BEAUTY! Full and Swinging into the stumps, Santner fails to put bat to ball. A loud appeal by the Aussies and the umpire rules it out. Terrific fast bowling by Starc. The end is near.
Tim Southeec David Warner b James Faulkner 4 14 0 0 28.57
33.4
J Faulkner to Tim Southee, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Fuller length ball on off, Southee tries to hit it down the ground but mistimes it completely. The ball goes high up in the air and Warner settles under it at extra cover to take a safe catch. Faulkner gets his second and Australia are one wicket away from a clean sweep.
Lockie Fergusonnot out 4 15 0 0 26.67
Trent Boultc Steven Smith b Pat Cummins 1 7 0 0 14.29
36.1
Pat Cummins to T Boult, OUT! WHAT A WAY TO FINISH IT OFF. A back of a length delivery outside off and Boult goes fetching for it as he tries to steer it towards third man. The ball gets the outside edge and flies towards the second slip. Smith, who was standing there dives full stretch towards his right and takes a beauty with one hand. He is making it a habit. AUSTRALIA WIN BY 117 RUNS AND WIN THE SERIES 3-0!
