M McClenaghan to S Marsh, OUT! Gone this time! A soft dismissal! But a much-needed wicket for Mumbai! McClenaghan angles in a full length delivery on middle, Shaun Marsh looks to flick but it goes off the inner half of the bat and lobs straight to Pollard at mid-wicket who gobbles a dolly. Replays show the bat turned in his hands and that led to his demise. End of a brilliant opening stand!
Wriddhiman Saha (W)b Krunal Pandya 11 15 0 0 73.33

K Pandya to W Saha, OUT! Bowled him! Pandya bowls this quicker and on the sticks, Saha dances down the track eyeing a big shot. But the ball stays low and he misses it completely. The ball goes onto crash his stumps. The no. 3 ploy hasn't worked for Punjab yet again. A timely wicket for Mumbai since this partnership was looking threatening.
Glenn Maxwell (C)b Jasprit Bumrah 40 18 4 3 222.22
16.3
J Bumrah to G Maxwell, OUT! Bumrah breaks the partnership! A length delivery on the sticks, Maxwell tries to slog it across the line only to connect thin air. The ball kisses his pads and goes onto disturb the stumps. Maxwell is annoyed with himself to play that shot. But it has been a heck of a knock, really! The umpires go upstairs to check the no ball but Bumrah was fine there.
Marcus Stoinisc Kieron Pollard b Mitchell McClenaghan 1 3 0 0 33.33
17.2
M McClenaghan to M Stoinis, OUT! Mitchell McClenaghan has something to celebrate. Got to praise Rohit Sharma to bring the Kiwi back into the attack after he went for 28 runs in his previous over. That must have given him the confidence. Coming to the ball, it was a length ball on the stumps, Stoinis tries to clear Indore but mistimes it completely. The ball goes high up in the air and Pollard gets under it at long on, after running ahead a bit, and takes it. He makes these catches look ridiculously easy. But believe me, they are not!

Parthiv Patel (W)c Glenn Maxwell b Marcus Stoinis 37 18 4 2 205.56

M Stoinis to P Patel, OUT! Parthiv departs! A much-needed breakthrough for the hosts! Stoinis bowls a slower one wide outside off, at 105 kph. Parthiv Patel initially moves leg side to slap it, then feels he's too far. Tries to reach out and ends up mistiming it towards mid off. Glenn Maxwell stationed there takes it calmly. Parthiv Patel departs but he's done his job. Now can the hosts capitalize on the breakthrough?
Jos Buttlerc Glenn Maxwell b Mohit Sharma 77 37 7 5 208.11

M Sharma to Jos Buttler, OUT! Mohit strikes... but a tad too late? Bowls a slower and a length ball, outside off, Buttler tries to go over long off. But he mistimes it, the ball goes high in the air. Maxwell runs behind from mid off and pouches the catch safely. Buttler is disappointed, he had a chance to get a century here. Anyway, he walks off to a good applause.
