Martin Guptillc MS Dhoni b Hardik Pandya 72 84 12 0 85.71
25.1
H Pandya to M Guptill, OUT! Caught behind! Pandya gets the breakthrough! On a length outside off, Guptill looks to punch it on the up but the ball bounces a touch, comes back in and takes the outside edge to the keeper. Pandya appeals but Guptill does not wait for the umpire to give his decision. He walks and the 42-run stand is broken.
Tom Lathamc Ajinkya Rahane b Axar Patel 39 40 4 0 97.5
15.3
A Patel to Tom Latham, OUT! It was coming, the wicket! Floated outside off, Latham opts for the sweep but it is too wide. The ball goes off the top edge towards short fine leg. Rahane over runs at first but recovers in time to catch that one safely. First wicket for India and boy, did they not want it.
Kane Williamson (C)c MS Dhoni b Amit Mishra 41 59 4 0 69.49
35.2
A Mishra to K Williamson, OUT! Mishra strikes! Floated outside off, Williamson looks to cut it through covers but fails to connect well. The ball goes off the edge and Dhoni does the rest. Williamson is not happy and he walks off. That is a big wicket for India! They will want to keep taking wickets.
Ross Taylorrun out (Dhawal Kulkarni) 35 58 1 0 60.34
45.3
U Yadav to R Taylor, OUT! DHONI MAGIC DOES IT! Fuller on middle, Taylor heaves it thorugh square leg and looks for the second. Dhawal from backward square leg fires the throw in at the striker's end. Dhoni collects the ball and deflects it onto the stumps without even looking at it. Third umpire is referred and the replays show Taylor is short of the crease. That is some superb work from Dhoni. Taylor cannot believe his luck and walks off with a grin. Dhoni is all smiles.
Jimmy Neeshamc Virat Kohli b Amit Mishra 6 9 1 0 66.67
37.6
A Mishra to J Neesham, OUT! Mishra gets one more! Floated outside off, Neesham looks to play on the up. The extra bounce does not help Neesham and Virat Kohli takes a superb catch at short cover. Mishra is pumped up and why not! Kohli seems to have hurt his fingers here as he landed after taking the catch. Replays also show that Neesham hit the ball twice!
Bradley Watling (W)c Rohit Sharma b Dhawal Kulkarni 14 21 1 0 66.67
44.3
D Kulkarni to B Watling, OUT! Watling holes out! On a length on middle, Watling looks to pulls it over the fence. The ball flies down to Rohit Sharma at backward square leg who takes a simple catch. That went finer than Watling would have wished for. India have kept taking wickets at the right time today. Both the batsman who got out and the bowler, look to the heavens. Such is the game of cricket!
Anton Devcichc Hardik Pandya b Umesh Yadav 11 11 0 0 100
47.6
U Yadav to A Devcich, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Fuller on off, Devcich looks to go over the top but fails to connect properly and finds Hardik Pandya at extra cover. The bat turned in his hands there. That was a soft dismissal and New Zealand sink further!

Ajinkya Rahanelbw b Jimmy Neesham 57 70 5 1 81.43
27.2
J Neesham to A Rahane, OUT! NEESHAM STRIKES! Angles it on a fuller length on middle, Rahane looks to get across and clip it through. He though is hit on his pads. The bowler goes up in an appeal and the umpire raises his finger. That is pretty plumb. A big wicket for the visitors. India under pressure now, they need 133 more runs in 136 balls.
Rohit Sharmac Bradley Watling b Tim Southee 11 19 2 0 57.89
4.1
Tim Southee to R Sharma, OUT! Caught behind! Southee strikes early! On a good length outside off, Rohit pushes at it. The ball moves away a bit and takes a thin outside edge to Bradley Watling. Rohit fails again. INDIA NEED 242 FROM 275 BALLS WITH 9 WICKETS IN HAND.
Virat Kohlic Bradley Watling b Ish Sodhi 45 51 2 1 88.24
19.5
Ish Sodhi to V Kohli, OUT! KOHLI WALKS! Shorter outside off, Kohli looks to cut that one but can only edge it back to the keeper who takes a good catch. Kohli walks and that is a big wicket for New Zealand! Sodhi is delighted and why not! Kohli is not happy as he walks off. India need 163 in 181 balls!
MS Dhoni (C) (W)b Jimmy Neesham 11 31 0 0 35.48
29.2
J Neesham to MS Dhoni, OUT! Big wicket! Fuller and angling into the stumps, Dhoni plays a loose drive to it and is beaten by the low bounce and the inward movement. The ball crashes into the stumps and that silences the crowd. Neesham is pumped up along with the captain and why not, they have taken the big wicket here and India under serious pressure. They need 126 in 124 balls.
Axar Patelb Trent Boult 38 40 3 1 95
42.3
T Boult to A Patel, BOWLED! That is a ripper! Full on middle, Axar looks to flick but is beaten by the pace. The ball hits his pads and rockets onto the off stump. Two wickets in the space of 4 balls for the Kiwis. INDIA NEED 54 FROM 45 BALLS WITH 1 WICKET IN HAND!
Manish Pandeyc Tom Latham b Tim Southee 12 12 2 0 100
32.2
Tim Southee to M Pandey, OUT! Whattay catch from Latham! Southee bowls this slower one on off, Pandey plays one of his wristy flicks over mid on. Latham leaps up at mid on and plucks it out of thin air. Pandey cannot believe his luck. India have lost half their side here. They need 107 more runs in 106 balls.
Kedar Jadhavlbw b Tim Southee 0 1 0 0 0
32.3
Tim Southee to K Jadhav, OUT! DEAD PLUMB! Southee bowls another slower length ball on middle, keeps low, Kedar looks to work it across but fails to connect. The ball hits him plumb in front of the stumps. That is a golden duck for Kedar Jadhav! The Kiwis are right on top here!
Hardik Pandyac Tom Latham b Mitchell Santner 9 13 0 0 69.23
35.6
M Santner to H Pandya, OUT! That is another spectacular catch by Tom Latham! Flighted on middle and off, Pandya comes down the track and looks to go inside out. The shot selection is good, so is the timing but perhaps the power is a bit less. He hits this towards extra cover but Tom Latham covers plenty of ground from long off to his left and takes a very good catch, just inside the ropes. Pandya is down on his knees. He certainly did not expect Latham to take that catch. INDIA NOW NEED 94 FROM 84 BALLS WITH 3 WICKETS IN HAND!
Amit Mishrarun out (Mitchell Santner) 14 17 1 0 82.35
42.1
T Boult to A Patel, OUT! Mishra is run out! Total miscommunication. A short ball on middle, Axar pulls it through mid-wicket and sets off for a single. There is an easy two available and Mishra charges back and so does Axar. But then he says no as he is not confident that he can get back in time. However, Mishra does not listen at all and keeps on running. In the meanwhile, Mitchell Santner gets across to his left and slides to return a decent throw to Watling who makes no mistake in disturbing the stumps. Mishra is furious with Axar and walks back in frustration. The enterprising 38-run stand is broken.
Dhawal Kulkarninot out 25 26 2 1 96.15
Umesh Yadavc Ross Taylor b Trent Boult 7 12 0 0 58.33
48.4
T Boult to U Yadav, OUT! NEW ZEALAND WIN BY 19 RUNS AND LEVEL THE SERIES 2-2! Boult gets the final wicket. A length ball outside off, Umesh looks to give this the big swing. But because the pitch is a bit slow, the ball does not come on to the bat that easily. He miscues it to short extra cover where Ross Taylor takes a simple catch. So we will have a series finale in Vizag.
