Jason Royc Quinton de Kock b Wayne Parnell 1 6 0 0 16.67
1.2
W Parnell to J Roy, OUT! Just the start South Africa wanted! On a fuller length and slanting across Roy. He goes for an expansive drive but makes the mistake of playing away from his body. Ends up getting a thick outside edge and de Kock behind the stumps moves a touch to his right and takes a straightforward catch. Poor shot and Roy pays the price for it. His lean patch with the bat continues.
Alex Halesc Quinton de Kock b Andile Phehlukwayo 61 60 8 1 101.67
17.1
A Phehlukwayo to A Hales, OUT! Wicket off the first ball for Phehlukwayo! Just what his skipper wanted from him! Back of a length wide outside off. It's there to be hit and Hales goes after the width. He flashes his bat at it but gets an outside edge through to de Kock, who doesn't make any mistake. Hales cannot believe that he missed out on that. A much-needed wicket for the Proteas. End of a 98-run stand!
Joe Rootc Hashim Amla b Andile Phehlukwayo 37 51 2 0 72.55
21.4
A Phehlukwayo to Joe Root, OUT! Root departs in an attempt to up the ante! And it is Phehlukwayo who again does the trick! Dug in short just outside off and it shoots off the pitch. Root rises on his toes and looks to pull it away. He is not in control as he top edges his shot and the ball spoons towards Amla at mid-wicket, who moves to his right and takes a simple catch. A rare failure from Root.
Eoin Morgan (C)c JP Duminy b Chris Morris 107 93 7 5 115.05
47.4
C Morris to E Morgan, OUT! A special knock from Morgan comes to an end! He has put his side in a commanding position. Fuller length ball on off, Morgan clears his front leg and looks to go over covers. His head is not in a good position while playing it and so he ends up miscuing it towards wide long off. JP Duminy runs in and keeps his calm to pouch it safely.
Ben Stokesc David Miller b Kagiso Rabada 25 30 0 1 83.33
32.4
K Rabada to Ben Stokes, OUT! Rabada strikes! Clever bowling this from him. After going full and wide in all his previous deliveries, he goes a touch short and on middle. Stokes pulls it flat in front of square on the leg side. Miller in the deep, runs to his right, judges the ball to perfection and pouches it with a reverse cup. The dangerous Stokes depart and this ends the 68-run stand.
Jos Buttler (W)c David Miller b Chris Morris 7 7 1 0 100
34.1
C Morris to Jos Buttler, OUT! Excellent captaincy from de Villiers! Angling down leg, Buttler looks to flick it away but finds Miller at short fine leg, who gets low and takes it with a reverse cup. Buttler is disappointed and why won't he be? He just had to get it a few inches to either side of the man there but hit it straight to him. This is a big blow as Buttler can be very dangerous at the fag end of the innings.

Hashim Amlalbw b Mark Wood 73 76 8 0 96.05
24.3
M Wood to H Amla, OUT! The review works wonders for England! On a good length and shaping into Amla. He shuffles across a touch and looks to tuck it across but misses to get pinged on the front pad. There is a big appeal for an LBW but the umpire is unmoved. Mark Wood consults his skipper, Morgan and they go for the review. Time for the replays. The Snickometer doesn't detect any involvement of the bat and the Hawk Eye shows that the ball is going to crash into the stumps and hence, the original decision is overturned. A well constructed knock from Amla comes to an end. End of the threatening 112-run stand from 109 balls. The Proteas need 195 runs from 153 balls.
Quinton de Kock (W)c Jos Buttler b Chris Woakes 5 13 0 0 38.46
6.2
C Woakes to de Kock, OUT! Woakes gets the crucial breakthrough! Bowls this on a back of a length around off, de Kock shuffles a touch and looks to pull it over mid-wicket. But, he is early into his shot and ends up top edging it towards short fine leg. Mark Wood is stationed there but Jos Buttler calls for it. Judges it well and dives forward to complete the catch. The English side is elated and why not? De Kock can take the game away from the opposition in no time.
Faf du Plessisc Jos Buttler b Liam Plunkett 67 61 8 0 109.84
25.4
L Plunkett to du Plessis, OUT! The English side is making a comeback! Two set batsmen have departed in a matter of two overs and the Proteas are losing their way a bit. Length delivery outside off, straightens a touch after landing. Faf du Plessis walks a long way across his stumps and looks to work it through mid-wicket. The line is not correct to attempt such a shot and he ends up getting a thin outside edge. Jos Buttler pouches it safely behind the stumps. Can England keep on building more pressure on the visitors?
AB de Villiers (C)c Liam Plunkett b Moeen Ali 45 38 7 0 118.42
37.5
M Ali to de Villiers, OUT! Ali has got the big fish! Just the wicket England were searching for! Flatter delivery, slightly on the shorter side. De Villiers dances down the track and looks to club it on the leg side but fails to make a proper connection. He knows that and so is disappointed. Plunkett at deep mid-wicket, gets underneath the ball and takes the catch. The skipper departs. South Africa need 115 off 74 balls!
JP Duminyc Chris Woakes b Adil Rashid 15 18 1 0 83.33
30.6
A Rashid to JP Duminy, OUT! Duminy holes out! The pressure is mounting on South Africa now! Short delivery, sliding away, Duminy goes back and pulls it over mid-wicket and finds the only man there in the deep, Chris Woakes, who remains calm to grab the catch. Duminy had so much time and should have done better. He is furious with himself and punches his bat. South Africa need one solid partnership now.
David Millerc Ben Stokes b Chris Woakes 11 10 0 1 110
34.1
C Woakes to D Miller, OUT! Change works! Back of a length delivery, angling away, Miller goes for the pull but fails to get it off the meat. Stokes it out there at deep mid-wicket and takes the catch comfortably. Another southpaw departs in a similar fashion and the Proteas have started to choke. The required rate wasn't out of their reach and so Miller should not have gone through with this shot as wickets in hand was the need of the hour for his side. 132 needed off 95 balls!
Chris Morrisc Jos Buttler b Moeen Ali 5 4 1 0 125
35.3
M Ali to C Morris, OUT! Another soft dismissal! Flatter, quicker and straight delivery, sliding in. Morris goes for a reverse sweep but gets a top edge and the ball lobs behind. Buttler backpedals a touch and completes the catch. This is going from bad to worse for South Africa. They have lost 3 wickets for 34 runs and Ab de Villiers is stranded out at the opposite end.
Wayne Parnellc Mark Wood b Chris Woakes 19 23 2 0 82.61
44.4
C Woakes to W Parnell, OUT! 3-fer for Woakes! Banged in short again, angling away, Parnell goes for the pull shot but gets a top edge. The ball balloons up and goes straight down the throat of Mark Wood at mid off, who gobbles it safely. England just 1 wicket shy of a victory.
Andile Phehlukwayob Adil Rashid 4 6 1 0 66.67
38.6
A Rashid to A Phehlukwayo, OUT! Bowled 'em! Googly outside leg, Phehlukwayo kneels down to sweep but misses. The ball spins and goes off the pads onto the stumps. Another one bites the dust. The visitors need 110 off 66 balls!
Kagiso Rabadac Jos Buttler b Chris Woakes 19 21 1 1 90.48
44.6
C Woakes to K Rabada, OUT! South Africa are bowled out! Back of a length delivery, angling away from Rabada, who looks to slap it away by making room but gets a faint nick and Buttler behind the stumps, stretches to his left and takes a good catch to complete the proceedings. ENGLAND WIN BY 72 RUNS!
