Dean Brownliec Farhaan Behardien b Chris Morris 31 39 3 0 79.49
13.1
C Morris to D Brownlie, OUT! Brownlie holes out! Morris bangs in a short delivery around middle and invites the batsman to have a go. Dean takes the challenge of playing the pull shot but it comes off the upper half of the bat. The ball flies towards the fielder at deep mid-wicket where Behardien goes a bit towards his left and takes a well judged catch near the fence. Morris has taken a wicket of his very first delivery of the second spell.
Tom Latham (W)lbw b Chris Morris 0 11 0 0 0
3.6
C Morris to Tom Latham, OUT! Latham is gone! Morris pitches it in line of the stumps and gets it to swerve back in off the seam, Latham falls over to the off side in an attempt to flick it across the line but misses. He is rapped on the pads, they appeal but the umpire remains unmoved. The bowler, keeper and skipper have a chat and AB de Villiers takes a really late call to go for the DRS, in fact after the umpire has signaled it as the end of the over. The replays show that it's pitched in line, hit the pads in line and would have crashed into the stumps. Early success for the Proteas. However, the timing of the review will be a point of debate.
Kane Williamson (C)b Tabraiz Shamsi 59 53 4 2 111.32
20.5
T Shamsi to K Williamson, OUT! DRAGS IT ON! Big blow to the Kiwis as their skipper departs. Tossed up outside off, Williamson goes for a cut but he is beaten by the inward spin. It catches the inside edge of his bat and rattles the stumps. Kane has to walk back after playing a fluent knock. Shamsi gets his first wicket of the match and he will like to add a few more to his tally.
Ross Taylorc & b Chris Morris 1 3 0 0 33.33
13.6
C Morris to R Taylor, OUT! Morris has struck twice in this over! Fuller delivery angling into the stumps, Taylor pushes it straight to the bowler, more of a check shot as it stops a bit onto the batsman. Morris takes a fine return catch in his followthrough. The visitors have the upper hand in this contest after this sensational over by Morris.
Neil Broomc Farhaan Behardien b Chris Morris 2 4 0 0 50
15.6
C Morris to N Broom, OUT! SOFT DISMISSAL! Short delivery into the body, Broom goes for a pull but fails to middle it. The ball flies of the top edge towards the fielder at square leg. Behardien takes a dolly as it comes straight to him. Morris is toying with the Kiwi batsmen. He has taken all the four wickets so far and is looking deadly.
Jimmy Neeshamc Quinton de Kock b Kagiso Rabada 29 35 2 0 82.86
30.1
K Rabada to J Neesham, OUT! Neesham falls! Rabada spears in a shortish ball, angling into the batsman and not rising much, Jimmy swivels with the pull shot but gets a top edge behind to the keeper. Quinton de Kock makes no mistake and Rabada strikes first ball of his new spell. That's a big wicket at this juncture of the game as Neesham is known for his power hitting.
Mitchell Santnerc Quinton de Kock b Kagiso Rabada 17 27 2 0 62.96
26.4
K Rabada to M Santner, OUT! Rabada comes around the wicket and digs it short this time. Santner goes for a hook but the ball gets big on him as it hits something on its way to the keeper. Quinton takes a fine catch over his head and starts appealing. The umpire is unmoved. De Kock convinces his skipper to go for the review and AB de Villiers acknowledges by going for it. Hot Spot shows that there was a top edge. The umpire has to change his decision and Santner has to walk back to the pavilion. South Africa have been successful with both their reviews today.

Quinton de Kock (W)c Ross Taylor b Trent Boult 69 64 9 1 107.81
21.3
T Boult to de Kock, OUT! SOFT DISMISSAL! Short delivery around off, angling away, de Kock fails to middle his pull shot properly and ends up hitting it in the air towards the fielder at mid-wicket. Ross Taylor goes a bit towards his right and takes a fine catch. Quinton has to walk back to the pavilion after playing a fine knock. Can New Zealand capitalize from here?
Hashim Amlac & b Kane Williamson 35 43 4 0 81.4
15.2
K Williamson to H Amla, OUT! Williamson strikes! He changes his angle to come from around the wicket and serves a flighted off spinner around off, Amla skips down the track to flick it on the leg side but closes the face of the bat too early. It pops out back to the bowler off the leading edge and Kane accepts the return catch gleefully. A handy knock by Hashim but knowing him, he will be disappointed for not converting the start. 120 needed off 112 balls.
Faf du Plessislbw b Ish Sodhi 14 18 1 0 77.78
20.1
Ish Sodhi to du Plessis, OUT! Umpire's decision stands. Floated delivery landing on middle and leg, Faf goes for a sweep shot but completely misses it. The ball hits his front pad first and then goes on to hit the back pad. The players appeal in unison and the umpire raises his finger. Du Plessis has a chat with his partner and then takes the DRS. The replays show that the pitching was in line, impact was also in line and it would have gone on to hit the top of off stump. So that means the umpire's decision will stand and Faf has to walk back to the hut.
AB de Villiers (C)not out 37 34 3 0 108.82
JP Duminyc & b Tim Southee 1 4 0 0 25
22.1
Tim Southee to JP Duminy, OUT! Another caught and bowled in this innings! Southee dishes out slower full delivery on on middle, Duminy leans forward and across to flick it on the leg side but closes the face of the bat early. The leading edge pops out back to the bowler who takes a simple catch in his followthrough. Excellent start to this spell for Southee!
Farhaan Behardienb Tim Southee 0 1 0 0 0
22.2
Tim Southee to F Behardien, OUT! SOUTHEE HAS TURNED THE TIDE! Off cutter and Behardien is totally undone by it. It lands outside off on a length, Behardien prods forward in defense but the ball cuts back in and sneaks through the gap between his bat and front pad. The stumps are shattered and Behardien has to depart for a golden duck. South Africa are in a state of worry now. Can Southee take a hat-trick?
Chris Morrisc Trent Boult b Mitchell Santner 16 16 3 0 100
26.4
M Santner to C Morris, OUT! Another one bites the dust and this game has taken yet another twist. Santner dishes out a flighted full ball around off, spinning away a touch, Morris tries to slog it over mid-wicket but gets a thick top edge in the air. Boult settles underneath it at long off and completes the catch safely. 52 needed off 44 balls!
