Tim Southee to H Amla, OUT! Amla's struggle comes to an end! He was looking jittery out in the middle and Southee sends him back. Bowls a length ball around the leg stump, Amla is not well balanced as he looks to clip it across. Gets early into his shot and spoons out a leading edge towards Williamson at mid off. The Kiwi skipper makes no mistake and pouches it safely.

49.2
T Boult to de Villiers, OUT! AB de Villiers departs after a brilliant knock! Low full toss outside off, de Villiers bends low and hits it uppishly towards deep mid-wicket. M Santner to JP Duminy, OUT! Brilliant effort from Southee sends Duminy packing! Tossed up outside off, going away with the arm. Duminy dabs it towards point and sets off for a run. That's a risky call and he has to sprint towards the other end. Southee rushes in towards the ball, picks it up nicely and hurls in a quick throw at the non-striker's end. Duminy is struggling as the ball hits the timber. The run out appeal is taken upstairs. Time for the replays. They show that Duminy is well short of his crease. Timely wicket for the Blackcaps.
David Millerc Neil Broom b Mitchell Santner 3 7 0 0 42.86
35.3
M Santner to D Miller, OUT! Miller fails to make a mark! Tossed up delivery on middle and leg, Miller clips it uppishly towards short mid-wicket. Neil Broom who is stationed there is alert, crouches and seems to be have taken a good low catch. The Kiwis are confident and are already celebrating. But the umpires walk across and consult whether it has been taken cleanly or not. The replays indicate that Broom has got his hands underneath the ball. The TV umpire decides that the replays are conclusive enough and the soft signal stays. Good passage of play for the Kiwis!

K Rabada to D Brownlie, OUT! Great start for the Proteas! Good length delivery outside off which nips away after pitching. Brownlie pokes at it and ends up nicking it behind. Quinton takes an easy catch and Brownlie falls cheaply. Both the openers are back in the pavilion and now the middle order has to step up to stay in the hunt.
Tom Latham (W)c JP Duminy b Wayne Parnell 0 7 0 0 0
1.3
W Parnell to Tom Latham, OUT! Latham's poor run continues! Parnell pitches this one back of a length outside off. Kane Williamson (C)b Andile Phehlukwayo 23 40 0 1 57.5
14.5
A Phehlukwayo to K Williamson, OUT! SKIPPER DEPARTS! Good length delivery just outside off, Williamson looks to play it with an angled bat but only ends up dragging it back to his stumps. That's a big, big wicket for the South Africans and Williamson walks back disappointed. South Africa are making life difficult for the Kiwis.
Ross Taylorlbw b Dwaine Pretorius 18 40 2 0 45
15.3
D Pretorius to R Taylor, OUT! ANOTHER WICKET DOWN! The Kiwis are in deep trouble with four batsmen already back in the hut and they even haven't crossed the 50-run mark. Length delivery angling into the stumps, Taylor prods forward and tries to clip it. He misses it totally and the ball hits the pads. The players appeal in unison and the umpire after thinking a bit rules that out. Replays show that it was plumb. Terrific bowling by Pretorius.
Neil Broomc Hashim Amla b Andile Phehlukwayo 0 4 0 0 0
16.6
A Phehlukwayo to N Broom, OUT! The Kiwis have lost half their side! Good length delivery which nips away a bit after pitching. Broom stays in his crease and tries to push it but he gets an outside edge. The ball flies away straight to Amla at first slip who does not make a mistake this time and pouches it safely. Broom departs for a duck. Now it would need something special from the hosts to pull this chase off. New Zealand need 221 runs in 198 balls.
