Niroshan Dickwella (W)c Peter Moor b Tendai Chatara 3 8 0 0 37.5
1.2
T Chatara to N Dickwella, OUT! Chatara strikes! The man in form Dickwella has to depart. After stitching two double century opening stands in a row with Gunathilaka, the wicketkeeper batsman has a failure to his name. It is a huge wicket for Zimbabwe. An early strike, just what they wanted after opting to bowl first. Back of a length ball on off, straightens a little, Dickwella pokes at it and gets an outside edge to the keeper, Peter Moor who makes no mistake. The Zimbabwe players are ecstatic. Sri Lanka lose their first.
Danushka Gunathilakalbw b Sean Williams 52 86 5 0 60.47
31.5
S Williams to D Gunathilaka, OUT! Williams gets his first wicket! Floated on middle and a bit fullish in length, spins away a touch. Gunathilaka should have been forward to that but opts to stay back. The ball stays low and goes past his defense to ping him on the front pad. Williams and Moor appeal confidently and the umpire rules it out. Danushka starts to walk off but his partner tells him to take the review. However, he doesn't. The third umpire checks for the front foot and he is fine. The southpaw departs after a very good knock.
Kusal Mendisc Graeme Cremer b Sikandar Raza 1 8 0 0 12.5
4.1
S Raza to K Mendis, OUT! The ploy to start with a spinner pays off. Raza strikes. Mendis is walking back to the hut. A big blow for Sri Lanka and they are in a spot of bother here. Tosses it up on middle, Mendis comes down the track and flicks it straight to Cremer at short mid-wicket. The Zimbabwe players are over the moon. Sri Lanka have lost their second.
Upul Tharangab Sikandar Raza 6 9 1 0 66.67
8.2
S Raza to U Tharanga, OUT! JAFFA! That is a dream ball for an off spinner. Gives it air on middle and leg, the ball turns away sharply. Tharanga tries to defend it off the front foot but gets beaten and the ball knocks the top of off. Tharanga can't believe it but he has to walk back. Zimbabwe are on top here.
Angelo Mathews (C)c Hamilton Masakadza b Graeme Cremer 24 47 4 0 51.06
20.4
G Cremer to A Mathews, OUT! Brilliant take, Masakadza! Cremer for a change tosses this one nicely outside off, draws Mathews forward. He prods forward to defend but is foxed by the away turn. It catches the outside edge of his bat and goes low towards Hamilton at first slip. He is alert at that position and dives low to his right to take a gem of a catch. This is another massive breakthrough for Zimbabwe. They keep on chipping away at the wickets.
Asela Gunaratnenot out 59 81 4 0 72.84
Wanidu Hasarangac Graeme Cremer b Sikandar Raza 0 5 0 0 0
32.5
S Raza to W Hasaranga, OUT! Raza has been terrific today and he is getting the rewards as well. Picks up his third wicket. Bowls this one on a shorter length on off, turns into Hasaranga. He camps back and whips it towards mid-wicket but doesn't bother keeping it down. Graeme Cremer stationed there dives to his left to pluck it out of thin air. A sharp catch from him. He is absolutely ecstatic! Sri Lanka continue to lose wickets in quick succession.
Nuwan Kulasekarab Graeme Cremer 5 5 1 0 100
34.2
G Cremer to N Kulasekara, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! Cremer brings himself on and takes a wicket. Bowls a googly outside off, gives it air and Kulasekara does not pick it. He tries to drive it down the ground but is beaten and the ball sneaks between bat and pad and hits the top of off. The crowd here has gone silent. Seven down for Sri Lanka.
Akila Dananjayac Tarisai Musakanda b Malcolm Waller 7 20 0 0 35
41.1
M Waller to A Dananjaya, OUT! What a catch! That is just brilliant from Musakanda. He takes an absolute blinder. Zimbabwe have been superb in the field today and they continue to do so. A short ball outside off, Dananjaya cuts it uppishly towards point. Tarisai Musakanda dives full length to his right and plucks it with one hand. Akila can't believe it. He walks back with a dejected look on his face. The visitors would now want to wrap it up quickly.

L Malinga to H Masakadza, OUT! Malinga strikes! Bowls a slower delivery and on a fullish length outside off, Masakadza looks to go big down the ground but miscues it to mid off. Kulasekara stationed there judges it nicely and leaps at the right moment to take a fine catch. Hamilton misses out on a ton but it has been a brilliant knock nevertheless. Can the home side trigger a collapse? 67 required from 26 overs.
Solomon Mireb Asela Gunaratne 43 32 5 2 134.38
14.2
A Gunaratne to S Mire, OUT! Finally they break the partnership through Asela. Bowls a flipper on leg stump. Mire exposes his stumps and tries to sweep but misses and the ball hits the leg stump. Mire has to walk back after a breezy knock. Sri Lanka have a little hope here.
Tarisai Musakandac Wanidu Hasaranga b Akila Dananjaya 37 49 4 0 75.51
30.5
A Dananjaya to T Musakanda, OUT! Musakanda has thrown his wicket away! He was playing well and there was absolutely no need to do something like that. He holes out. Tossed up around off, Tarisai Musakanda uses his feet and drags it towards long on. Hasaranga runs in and attacks the ball. Judges it to perfection and dives in front to take a really good catch. Zimbabwe are allowing the hosts to come back into the contest. Senseless cricket. They need 38 runs from 115 balls with five wickets in hand.
Craig Ervinelbw b Akila Dananjaya 2 6 0 0 33.33
26.3
A Dananjaya to C Ervine, OUT! Successful review from Sri Lanka! The hero of the last game makes his way back to the pavilion. Dananjaya tosses this one nicely around leg stump and gets it to turn away ever so slightly. Ervine hangs deep in the crease and looks to counter it but misses to get pinged on the pads. There is a confident shout for an LBW but the umpire shakes his head. Mathews opts to take a review after a chat with his teammates. The replays show that it has pitched in line, impact is in line and it is going to shatter the middle stump. Sri Lanka need to keep chipping away at the wickets.
Sean Williamsc Kusal Mendis b Akila Dananjaya 2 7 0 0 28.57
28.4
A Dananjaya to S Williams, OUT! Dananjaya is giving a sniff to his side! Drifts this one towards the pads and gets it to straighten a bit. Williams looks to play it against the spin but gets a leading edge towards Kusal Mendis at short cover. He is alert at that position and takes a reverse cup catch. Williams is fuming at himself. Akila gets his second. Zimbabwe need 52 runs from 128 balls.

Malcolm Wallerc & b Lasith Malinga 1 3 0 0 33.33

L Malinga to M Waller, OUT! The bowling change works wonders! Malinga the veteran like always has taken a wicket for Sri Lanka. He bowls it very full on middle, Waller tries to work it on the leg side but gets a leading edge back to the bowler. Malinga gets two hands to it in his followthrough and does well to hang onto it. He dropped one earlier but has taken this one now. Zimbabwe are under a bit of pressure.
Peter Moor (W)c Kusal Mendis b Akila Dananjaya 1 7 0 0 14.29
34.4
A Dananjaya to P Moor, OUT ! OH.. MY! What are we seeing here! Another wicket and Zimbabwe are crumbling. They were cruising at one stage and now are on the back foot. Akila tosses it up on middle stump, Moor tries to push it but gets it off the inner half to Kusal Mendis at leg gully who takes a very good catch. Sri Lanka are very well back into the game. Zimbabwe need 29 with 3 wickets in hand.
