Evin Lewislbw b Tendai Chisoro 9 9 2 0 100
2.5
T Chisoro to E Lewis, OUT! The decision stays as it is! Chisoro strikes again! He is having a time of his life here. Loopy ball outside off, turning in with the angle. Lewis gets back to flick but misses and is rapped on the pads right in front of the stumps. Tendai turns back to appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Evin immediately takes the review and the only thing that would have saved him would be an inside edge. Replays show there is no wood and the Ball-Tracker shows the impact in line and it would have gone on to hit the middle stick. West Indies have now lost both their openers.
Johnson Charlesc & b Tendai Chisoro 0 1 0 0 0

T Chisoro to J Charles, OUT! Caught and bowled! Chisoro draws first blood and Johnson Charles bags a golden duck! Tosses this one around middle and off, Charles tries to flick it across the line but ends up getting a leading edge. The ball lobs back towards the bowler who takes a simple reverse cup catch. Zimbabwe have got what they wanted, an early breakthrough.
Kraigg Brathwaiterun out (Craig Ervine) 24 45 2 0 53.33
17.4
S Raza to J Carter, OUT! Run Out! Craig gets the better of Kraigg! Brilliant piece of fielding, this. It reminded me of Temba Bavuma who affected a run out of David Warner in the on-going Test series in Australia. Coming to the ball, it was a loopy ball around middle and off, Carter pushes it towards the off side and Brathwaite calls for a single. Ervine gets to the ball, picks it up and in one motion he flicks a throw at the striker's end. Much to his delight, it even hits the timber. Zimbabwe were confident that they have got their man but the umpire takes it upstairs. Replays show Kraigg is well short of his ground. A crucial stand has been broken.
Shai Hope (W)c Hamilton Masakadza b Sean Williams 14 22 2 0 63.64
9.2
S Williams to S Hope, OUT! Edged and it's taken! Shai Hope has to go and West Indies are in huge trouble now. Williams bowls a loopy ball around off, turns away a touch. Hope prods forward to defend but gets a thick outside edge towards first slip where Masakadza takes a lovely catch to his right. Brilliant catch, this and the crowd is loving it.
Jonathan Carternot out 43 56 4 0 76.79
Rovman Powellc Craig Ervine b Sean Williams 6 15 0 0 40
22.5
S Williams to R Powell, OUT! Why would want to play that shot? The required run rate is not even 5. Floated on middle and leg, Powell looks to go for the big shot for some reason. The ball skies down to long off for a good catch. The crowd is jubilant and why not, this is some mediocre batting from West Indies. Ervine was the catcher there. Powell has to go back.
