Alastair Cook says England need to start winning games
Alastair Cook said that England were slightly below par with their score of 269 for seven against Australia in the first One-Day International (ODI). He did say though, that he was impressed by the performance of Chris Jordan and Gary Ballance. Hr praised both Eoin Morgan and Ballance for their partnership.
Cook did say that they were disappointed with dropping catches off especially opener, Aaron Finch. He did give credit to Finch for the way he played and essayed a fine century. He concluded by saying that they have to learn from their lessons on this tour and start to win games.
