Ashley Giles rues England’s top order woes
England’s coach Ashely Giles rued top order woes for the visitors’ downfall in both the Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against West Indies. Jos Buttler came for particular praise from the English coach for his big hitting pyrotechnics down the order.
Losing five of their last T20′s, Giles said that England’s preparation was awful ahead of the ICC World T20 2014 in Bangladesh but he believed his team was one of the best in the T20 circuit and can make an impact and defy odds like they did in 2010.
“I though we were about 15-20 runs short at the end,” stand-in England skipper Eoin Morgan conceded. “We showed a lot of fight though, which is good heading into the ICC World T20 2014.”
