This video feature shows the raw emotions on the faces of the Australian players after winning the One Day International (ODI) series against England 4-1. The Australian players lifted the trophy in Adelaide, this ending one of England’s worst tours in their history.

The team has arrived in Hobart to play its first of the three matches against England, who were taken down at 5-0 in the Ashes and 4-1 in the one-day international series, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. Australian wicketkeeper cum batsman Matthew Wade said the team was desperate to improve the nation’s fortunes in the game”s shortest format.

“Definitely, you usually play two and generally it’s a drawn series. This time they’ve got three which is going to be good. There’s a World Cup coming up so we’ve got to try and finalise the team. I think we’ll take the momentum [from] throughout the whole summer,” he said.

“The guys have set it up really nicely for us, they’ve managed to win the one-day series as well. It would be really nice to finish the summer off on a high and win this series,” he added.
