Bowlers failed to read conditions: Sulakshan Kulkarni
Buoyed by Murali Vijay's fine ton, Rest of India put up a formidable 330 for five on the board on Day One of the Irani Trophy 2012-13 against Mumbai.
Vijay shared a 144-run opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan (63) to peg Mumbai back after captain Abhishek Nayar won the toss and put RoI in to bat.
Mumbai coach Sulakshan Kulkarni defended his player saying they didn't read the conditions well.
