England Women skipper Charlotte Edwards expressed delight over the Ashes win and said that it was one of the proudest moments of her career.
"To be honest, it's a lot to do with self belief and confidence because we've done the hard work and we came here the fittest we've been post-World Cup,” Edwards said.
"Sometimes you've just got to get out in the middle and back the skills and ability you've got and I suppose, for me, that was what was missing," he added.
"We've just beat the world champions quite convincingly. It's probably one of my proudest achievements with these players."
