Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed in a rare manner when he was adjudged out for handling the ball while playing for Derbyshire against Leicestershire in a County Championship Division Two match against Leicestershire on Tuesday.
Pujara, was batting on six runs when was dismissed facing a delivery from Atif Sheikh. He had faced 28 deliveries before starting a walk back to the pavilion. He had scored 90 runs in the previous match against Surrey. Earlier, Pujara started on a sour note after just scoring zero and seven runs in first match for Derbyshire.
There have been seven batsmen in Test cricket to be dismissed in a similar fashion, the latest being Michael Vaughan against England in Bangalore.
