Australian batsman Chris Rogers has praised team-mate David Warner after they finished at 331 for 3 at the end of the first day of the third Test match against South Africa at Cape Town.

Rogers said that David Warner  who scored a superb century and Michael Clarke were the two batsmen who were responsible for Australia posting a huge total in the first day itself.

Rogers singled out Warner in particular for his heroics with the bat and said that Australia were now under no pressure to perform againt South Africa and will definitely look for a win once the Test resumes.

Rogers added that though the South African bowlers were brilliant the nature of the wicket allowed the visiting batsmen to hit through the line and rack up a huge first innings total.
