England‘s Joe Root says that England have done well to win the first warm-up game in their ongoing tour of the West Indies and hope that his side would carry on the momentum in the upcoming matches against the home team.

Root scored a fine century in the game as England edged out a West Indies Vice Chancellor’s XI side which may augur well for the visitors ahead of the first ODI against the home side.

England have been plagued with problems both on and off the field the most notable being the axing of Kevin Pietersen recently and also the hammering they received at the hands of the Australians in the just concluded tour of Australia.
