England have called up Ian Bell as a back-up batsman thanks to the injuries which have plagued the side during the ongoing tour of the West Indies.

England’s One-Day International coach Ashley Giles said that he was disappointed at the way England are playing the limted-over format of the game currently and said that things needed to be drastically improved if his side ever wanted to get back on track.

Giles said that he hoped his side would turn their recent run of bad form by playing some positive cricket and trying to get good results.

Giles concluded by saying that since the majority of the side was inexperienced it was crucial for them to be put under tough situations which would only benefit their game.
