Australian coach Darren Lehamnn said that Mitchell Johnson and Brad Haddin needed rest and will be back for the second One-Day International.

“It has been a hectic five Test match. So some of the players needed rest.”

Lehmann said that England will come back hard as they will try to work well and with the 2015 World Cup ahead.  He refused to comment on the rift within the England team.

Lehmann hoped their best ODI bowler Clint McKay will get back in rhythm. The pacer did well in England but was taken apart in India.

He also indicated that the Big Bash League will be a good platform for players to enter the squad for World T20 in Bangladesh this year.
