Australia thrashed England by 88 runs in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Old Trafford, Manchester on Sunday.

Australia scored a total of 315 for seven with Michael Clarke top-scoring with a 102-ball 105. George Bailey scored a 67-ball 82. Boyd Ranking and Steven Finn took two wickets each.

In reply, England were bowled out for 227. Kevin Pietersen scored a 66-ball 60, while Eoin Morgan scored 69-ball 54. Jos Buttler scored a quick-fire 65-ball 75.

Clint McKay took three wickets, while Mitchell Johnson took took two wickets. Australia lead the five-match series 1-0.
