England captain Eoin Morgan was all praise towards his Australian counterpart Michael Clarke after the second One-Day International (ODI) in Manchester on Sunday.
Australia beat England by a massive 88-run margin at Old Trafford. Clarke’s 105 off 102 balls led Australia to post a total of 315 for seven in 50 overs. In reply, England were bowled out for 227 in 44.2 overs.
Despite being outplayed for much of the game, Morgan said it was more due to Australia and Clarke being superior on the day than England being poor.
