South Africa’s Faf Du Plessis says that the rain has probably helped Australia gain reverse swing during the third day of the Third and final Test match at Cape Town and added that the condition of the pitch was a bit dry for their liking.

Du Plessis said that now it was up to the Proteas to use the conditions to their advantage and singled out Kyle Abbott and Morne Morkel as the two bowlers who could turn it around for South Africa.

Du Plessis said that the ideal team combination for the Cape Town pitch was seven batsmen and four seamers, the same they had used in the 231 thumping of Australia in the second Test at Port Elizabeth.
