Gautam Gambhir says he misses the challenge of Test cricket
Discarded Indian opener, Gautam Gambhir, in an interview with NNIS Sports, has said that he rates Test cricket as the highest level of the game.
He said that Test cricket tests the true mattle of a cricketer and he misses batting at the highest level of the game for India.
Gambhir last played a Test for India in 2012.
He has had a decent Ranji season in 2013, and will be hoping for a good show in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) to stake claim for the opener’s slot in the Indian line-up again.
Gambhir, along with Virender Sehwag, formed one of the most successful opening pairs in the Test cricket history.
