George Bailey: Sledging David Warner not the best tactic
The skipper said that Warner gets pumped up when irked in the centre.
George Bailey faced the media ahead of the first T20 International between Australia and South Africa at Port Elizabeth. A lot of the talk in recent times has been about David Warner and the fact that he doesn’t shy away from a banter. Warner is an expressive player and voices his opinion without inhibitions. Bailey said that as an opposition, it won’t be advisable to sledge Warner. The skipper said that Warner gets pumped up and he could be pushed into the zone to perform if irked in the centre. This comes as a staunch warning ahead of the T20s and the ICC World T20, which is to come later.
