Australian opener Phil Hughes speaks to CA TV after he was named in the Australia ‘A’ squad for a quadrangular series in Queensland later this year.

Hughes added that he was pleased at his selection and also maintained that team selections should always be done on current domestic form of players.

Hughes said, “To do what Dave has done against England and then South Africa taking on the best attack in the world has been unbelievable to be honest,” reported News.com.au.

Warner pounded 543 runs at an average of 90 and an astounding strike rate of 87 against South Africa, while Johnson took 22 wickets at 17.

Hughes said that what Warner could do was change a game in a session, adding that it would be interesting to see what he will be like in two or three years.
