Harbhajan Singh imitates Sachin Tendulkar after maiden Test ton
When Harbhajan Singh is on a roll, there’s entertainment all around. In the first Test of the 2010 series against New Zealand, Bhajji was not just threatening with the ball but his bat made more noise. In the Ahmedabad Test, Harbhajan scored a is maiden Test ton. But the funniest moment was when he imitated Sachin Tendulkar sitting in the dressing room.
India were placed comfortably after the first innings with the top order firing and Harbhajan scoring 69 out of the total of 487. But in the second essay, India were ripped apart by Chris Martin. At one stage, India were five down for mere 15 runs. Harbhajan then shared a 163-run seventh wicket stand with VVS Laxman (91) to rescue India.
Harbhajan completed his ton when India were eight down for 239. After his ton, Bhajji was imitating Tendulkar’s trademark action of rejigging his croutch-guard and then pointing for someone to stand away from the sight-screen. Tendulkar while congratulating the ton couldn’t stop but laugh at Bhajji imitating him.
