The India A team led by Manoj Tiwary are on the tour to Australia as they are playing Australia A in a few games. Tiwary’s men were batting first on Day one of their tour and were led from the front by the captain. India A had initially lost quite a few wickets but then Jiwanjot Singh scored a gritty fifty and that was helped by an innings of 83 by skipper Tiwary.Tiwary was well backed up by Naman Ojha, who remained unbeaten on 82 at the end of day’s play with India finishing on 304 for six. Ben Cutting, Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Boyce picked up two wickets each for Australia A, a side that is led by James Faulkner.
