India captain, MS Dhoni has said that the New Zealand tour will be an ideal preparation for the ICC World Cup next year in the trans-Tasmanian nations.

He believes that it will be a challenge to play against a young, dynamic New Zealand side in their backyard.

With new ODI rules in place, this is India’s first visit to New Zealand and Dhoni believes this time round, there could be some really high-scoring encounters.

Acknowledging the fact that India haven’t had the best of overseas records in the last couple of years, Dhoni said that he believes India have found the stable line-up which can win matches in away conditions as well.
