CricketCountry’s chief mentor VVS Laxman lauds Bangladesh’s effort despite their defeat against India at Hyderabad. Chasing 459, Bangladesh were bowled out for 250, eventually getting edged past by 208 runs. Laxman also praised the performances of Shakib Al Hasan and skipper Mushfiqur Rahim. Besides Bangladesh’s performance, Laxman expressed his views on Indian pacers and applauded their bowling efforts. Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers, as he scalped three big wickets in the first innings, while Ishant Sharma emulated the same in the final innings.

Laxman then lauded the board’s step to back Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha. Rahane, who did not have a good series against England, made his comeback with his 82-run knock, while Saha scored a century to help his team post a big total.
