England captain Alastair Cook discussed the Lord’s wicket and team selection. The England skipper has been woefully out of form recently, and was unable to change things in the first Test at Trent Bridge. However, Cook has an excellent record against India and had scored an unforgettable 294 against them in 2011.

Alastair Cook’s captaincy has also come under severe attack after England’s loss to Sri Lanka at home. It is assumed that if England fail to clinch the five-match series against India, then Alastair Cook will be relieved of his captaincy duties. He’ll definitely look to regain his batting form in the upcoming Test match at Lord’s.
