The MS Dhoni-led Indian team on Monday left to New Zealand to play a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series as well as two Tests against the hosts. India will play their first ODI at Napier on January 19 and the final game of the series to be held on January 31 at Wellington.

The first Test match between the two teams will start on February 6 at Auckland and the second and final game to be held at Basin Reserve in Wellington. Both teams would be raring to go in what promises to be an exciting and mouth watering contest. New Zealand though, have the home advantage.
