Delhi Daredevils will go in to the Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions 2014 without retentions. By virtue of this decision, the franchisee will have their entire 60 crore amount to spend during the auctions and will have three players to bid for under ‘Right to Match’.
The Daredevils franchisee made their announcement on the social media, Twitter. They also tweeted that it was an unanimous decision by the management in order to build a fresh team that their fans will be truly proud of. It means that stars of their previous campaigns like David Warner, Kevin Pietersen and Virender Sehwag haven’t been retained for the 2014 edition.
