England fast-bowler James Anderson spoke at length about not having a permanent place in the national side and also lamented over the 5-0 Ashes humiliation which his side suffered at the hands of Australia in 2013.

Anderson who plies his wares for Lancashire in county cricket also admitted that it was ‘disappointing’ to be not a part of the England set-up and also hoped that his strong performances in domestic cricket will help him cement his place in the national side.

Anderson who was part of the losing England squad against Australia could only manage to pick up 14 wickets at an average of 43.92 during that tour and is now determined to banish the memory of that loss forever and look ahead in his cricketing  journey.
