England middle-order batsman Joe Root said that he expected a ‘special’ performance from England in the fifth Test. Root, who has enjoyed good form in the tournament, will look to repeat his heroics in the fifth and final Test too.

England lost the second Test at Lord’s but bounced back in style in the next two matches. Moeen Ali, who was considered a part-time spinner before the series came good in the third and fourth Tests, and rattled the Indian batting order.
