South Africa‘s Kyle Abbott said that he was excited to be playing the third Test against Australia at Cape Town and said that the decision to play him was purely the selectors.
Abbott said that South Africa would have to work hard against the Australians to get a result and also lamented the injury to premium pace Dale Steyn.
Abbott said that South Africa were looking to put that setback behind them and were working on a plan as to how to beat the Australians.
Abbott said that conditions were tough for the home side and also maintained that he was unlucky not to have got wickets as expected against the Australians and concluded by saying that Test cricket was an unpredictable game and great leveler.
