Sep 4, 2014

In this video, South Africa all-rounder Ryan McLaren faces a nasty bouncer from Mitchell Johnson and that resulted in a broken forearm. McLaren is ruled out of the remainder of the triangular series due to his broken arm.

“Ryan was taken for X-rays this afternoon after complaining of severe pain following a blow to his right forearm yesterday,” South Africa team manager Dr Mohammed Moosajee was quoted as saying by Cricket Australia (CA) official website.

“The scans revealed a hairline fracture to the bone in the right forearm, which rules him out of action for the next three weeks. He will return back to South Africa on Thursday morning,” Moosajee added.
