Jammu and Kashmir captain, Parvez Rasool has said that the mood in the team’s camp is that of enthusiasm and confidence even though his team lost the quarter-final tie of Ranji Trophy 2013-14 against Punjab.
Rasool added that the difference between the two teams was just a missing partnership in Jammu and Kashmir‘s second innings. Hardeep Singh‘s injury in the second innings also hampered their chances, he admitted.
He expressed delight on bagging a five-wicket haul against Punjab, but also lamented on the fact that he couldn’t provide much resistence with the bat in the second innings, contrary to his hundred in the first.
But he believes the state outfit will turn up as a stronger and fitter team next season.
