Jammu and Kashmir skipper and their key player Parveez Rasool gave full credit to Punjab’s captain Harbhajan Singh for his swashbuckling knock of 92 off just 80 balls in their Ranji Trophy encounter. Jammu and Kashmir were clearly in the ascendancy when Harbhajan came to Punjab’s rescue to take them to a score of 304. Jammu and Kashmir were 11 for 1 at stumps.
Rasool though, was still optimistic about his team’s chances by stating that they have a fine batting line-up and can overcome the challenge. This season, Jammu and Kashmir under Rasool’s captaincy have shone brightly by reaching the quarter final stage of Ranji Trophy.
