Punjab‘s batsman Mandeep Singh essayed a century against Jammu and Kashmir in the all important Ranji Trophy 2013-14 quarter-final. He was happy about scoring a century in a crucial game which resulted in Punjab getting up to a good total of 324. He stitched crucial partnerships with Indian discard and middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh and the youngster, Gurkeerat Singh. He said that the wicket on which the game is being played on is good for batting through, there is some help for the seamers to do well. He also praised Jammu and Kashmir’s bowling effort by rating their performance highly.
